Select one language to rule them all (i.e. a default that you need a good reason to challenge), one language to find them (focus your recruitment efforts), one language to bring them all (stretching the analogy here, but bring all your team to a problem rather than specialists who are only able to work in one area), and in the darkness bind them (the darkness is ignorance, learning one technology is easier and faster than learning many).
